Mad Plumber Wizard *

Just in case anyone else is still stuck at the Water Plant of DOOM, here is what finally worked for some wasting days ::

Open up fresh tabs (you may want to flood first, but with this method it matters little) or windows (using the room=URL links); two for Room 1, three for Room 2, and three for Room 3.

Submit the following into each consecutive tab but don't click Go yet.

1. http://neopets.com/altador/plant.phtml?room=1&act=r1v1
2. http://neopets.com/altador/plant.phtml?room=1&act=r1v2
3. http://neopets.com/altador/plant.phtml?room=2&act=r2v3
4. http://neopets.com/altador/plant.phtml?room=2&act=r2v4
5. http://neopets.com/altador/plant.phtml?room=2&act=r2s1
6. http://neopets.com/altador/plant.phtml?room=3&act=r3s2
7. http://neopets.com/altador/plant.phtml?room=3&act=r3s3
8. http://neopets.com/altador/plant.phtml?room=3&act=r3s4

Take a deep breath. Go. Refresh tabs/windows (using the actual refresh key or browser button and NOT the link above the pictures) like a Mad Plumber Wizard, orderly or randomly.

The point of this is to maximize your "click effects" since order and logic does not seem to matter, this ensures you more easily hit the odds of the correct sequence. By refreshing using your browser button or keyboard key, you are refreshing the ACTION, not the room of any prior action that may have caused an effect. The links above the rooms refresh only the room itself -- to observe the effect(s) of another room after you clicked anything. Observing the water flow and changes, etc. does not seem to matter despite the puzzle seemingly trying really hard to do that.

This is a method of last resort. Good luck!

If this method was helpful to you, why not donate $1 to the Mad Plumber?

  • This was AWESOME! It worked for me in less than a minute, instead of the ages it was taking me to do it methodically. Thanks!

By Blogger Connie, at 6:46 PM

  • Wow...I spent three hours doing it the normal way and this way did it in less than five minutes. Nice job and thanks!

By Blogger Unknown, at 6:20 PM

  • this actually works!
just refresh each tab individual, in turn, and bam.

By Blogger tv_addict, at 7:21 PM

  • After spending two days attempting random patterns then trying to get systematic using a table of all possible patterns I stumbled upon this. 5 minutes later, I've saved Altador. Thank you Anjuna!

  • Wow, this was completely amazing! This worked for me in just over a minute! Brilliant stuff :)

  • Dude, I am amazed. It took me less than a minute. Wow! Big thanx!

By Blogger MIster Sinister, at 4:38 PM

  • After days of frustration on this plot, finding this saved the day. If you combine it with the "reload every" add on for firefox it is even easier. I just set up each page to reload on a different amount of seconds and I just let it run for 2-3 minutes. YOU ROCK!

By Blogger Sarah, at 3:57 PM

  • Oh, wow, thanks. I spent literally days on this and was really frustrated, and your instructions worked really quickly. Thanks so much.

By Blogger Brigid Keely, at 9:02 AM

  • Keep refreshing :) and be sure to pay attention to the area below the image that will let you know when the water plant is fixed.

By Blogger anjuna, at 12:55 PM

  • Yay THnx it workd .lol i dint reli pay attention to wat it said at the bottom .

By Blogger Unknown, at 12:41 AM

  • Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

By Blogger yvonne, at 4:37 AM

  • I was reeeeally stuck on this puzzle, even after doing what you said, and so I thought i'd tell the method that finally worked for me.
I did this method with all the tabs, and then I refreshed the first one. I then refreshed the first one again, then the second and then the first. Then the first, second, third, second first and so on. When I got towards the last tab, it worked! YAY!
Hope this helps others. Good luck!

By Blogger Emily, at 8:49 PM

  • Well I tried in order, back and forth, at random, and after refreshing for 30 minutes it still doesn't work... I'm starting to think mine just won't resolve, maybe my account is set to "can't win altador plot"

By Blogger Unknown, at 4:32 PM

  • halleluyaaaah, i got it... 3 minutes my &à"@#!! Over an hour yes!

By Blogger Unknown, at 5:11 PM

  • Consider yourself one of the lucky ones :D -- and more so for finding this quick tweak! ;) I personally spent 3 waking days, and so did many others several hours, trying to fix that darn plumbing. :P

By Blogger anjuna, at 5:22 PM

  • It doesn't work for me. I can always get two of the vats filled, but while I'm trying to fill the others, they empty. Also, the urls change as soon as I enter them. I think Neopets has disabled this way of getting it done.

By Blogger Jen, at 3:14 PM

  • The URLs should not change when you enter them. (That could be a browser problem and if you use Firefox then I can't help you.) Probably the best method is to right-click on each link and open it in a new tab/window. Please read the instructions very carefully. The idea of this "trick" is that you need not pay attention to how the vats are filled at all since the logic behind it is as wonky as the plant itself. Best of luck trying again!

By Blogger anjuna, at 10:50 AM

  • hi there... initially i was stuck even after following your instructions but then i kept trying and IT WORKED!!! thank you so much!!!

By Blogger teekaywhy, at 10:42 PM

  • Wow is all I can say! Very good idea.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:20 PM

  • Wow, I finished it so increadibly quickly using this method that I got confused why I suddenly couldn't make any more changes. It must've taken me less than one minute of actual clicking. Thanks!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:55 AM

  • You. Are. A. GENIUS. I LOVE YOU. thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!

By Blogger christine, at 2:13 AM

  • thanks!!! it really works!!! u are fabulous!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:27 PM

  • 2 words. Thank. You. This was completely the exact thing I needed to get through.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:54 PM

  • Due to so many users posting questions that are already answered in the tutorial on this page, I have to politely ask everyone to re-read the steps before posting since the answer is most likely already explained if one bothers to pay attention and read more carefully. Thanks all! :)

By Blogger anjuna, at 10:38 AM

  • You are truly a genius. I tried it for 2 days using a complicated table with all possible solutions, and I still didn't get it. Using your method, along with the one elsa willow suggested, and I got it on the third refresh.
    Brilliant! Thank you!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:53 PM

  • thx

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:02 PM

  • i tried every of the 256 ways and none of them worked but then i used your way and it worked in a minute and a half. thank you so much, i was going to give up.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:23 PM

  • you. are my savior.

who seriously has the patience to do that by guessing. i sure dont.

    thanks a ton genius.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:05 PM

  • Just wanted to pop in from time to time to thank all the people posting about their successes. Thanks for your appreciation and you are very welcome! Also to remind newcomers to please read the directions very carefully to avoid confusion. Instructions were written *almost too well* to avoid misunderstanding but I am both Polish and human so my grammar is not infallible. ;)

By Blogger anjuna, at 8:53 PM

  • Best method so far! Worked wonders in just a few second. Thanks a million!

By Anonymous Nikki, at 9:54 AM

  • Thanks Elsa Willo really appreciate it

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10:01 PM

  • ohemgee. I spent HOURS doing it methodically, tried every possible combination, and your method worked in under a minute with just randomly refreshing the windows. Thank you thank you thank you.

By Blogger Ashley, at 3:14 PM

  • this is a really great idea, but i've spent hours and days refreshing and refreshing the tabs...
i've also tried doing the longer way twice...
    maybe i'm doing something wrong?
i use safari, please help me...

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:42 PM

  • I'm not too familiar with Safari; the only thing I can think of is to make sure your browser displays any new page changes upon each refresh. Some browsers default to retrieving images from the cache, which can sometimes result in an older version of a page being shown. Also, make sure you are understanding the instructions. ;)

By Blogger anjuna, at 11:01 PM

  • hi! me again,
can you suggest any other browser that will surely help me get out of the water plant?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:26 AM

  • Well, Neopets was designed to be viewed and played in Internet Explorer but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to solve the puzzle with another browser. First make sure you understand the instructions and that your current browser can detect and display page changes upon each visit. If that doesn't work, feel free to try Opera or Firefox. I use Avant Browser which uses the trident engine to render but has more features than any other browser I've tried, including Firefox. ;)

By Blogger anjuna, at 10:10 AM

  • THANK YOU!

After weeks of doing it the old way this finally worked! =D Good Job!

By Anonymous Lauren, at 3:19 PM

  • I know that you have gotten so much praise already, but you still deserve more! Thank you so much for this. I couldn't have done this without this guide, and I couldn't bear to not commend you for this. And to think I spent days working with hard methods!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:22 PM

  • ...it was to the point that I was dreaming about valves and switches...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:15 AM

  • OMG!! I was trying for a month and now I made it finally!!! damn I love you!! thanks

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:21 PM

  • 2 days refreshing still no good what now

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:19 PM

  • Hmmm, well that is incredibly unlucky. Make sure your browser settings are optimized for this website and plot; that you are following instructions very specifically; and keep on trying. Good luck! :)

By Blogger anjuna, at 7:40 PM

  • Hahahah!! So great! Worked like a charm! In about 5 seconds (no kidding!!!) Thanks so much!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:06 AM

  • maybe i'm doing something wrong....i'm following the instructions as closely as possible...if someone could explain it in slighty different words....i don't get why mine isn't working

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:47 PM

  • I'd have to know exactly what you are having a problem with? What are you doing so differently that is "close to" but not exactly as the instructions direct? ;)

By Blogger anjuna, at 6:17 PM

  • my comment doesn't seem to be posting....hmm. well, what i'm having issues with is details. when i say "as close to" i mean think i'm doing that exactly, but i could be doing something wrong unknowingly. I am refreshing the tabs, as directed, but im unsure if letting thetab load completelyis necessary before i refresh the next one is an issue, (let me know if i'm not making sense...) really i think i just need some details...i'm not fantastic with computers, so im probably doing something totally obviously wrong...thanks. :)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:31 PM

  • YESSSS!!!!! never mind, thanks for your help, but it just worked. I'm going to restate the obvious, YOU ARE A GENIUS!!!!! :):):):)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:39 PM

  • Hmm, letting the page load might be a good idea anyway but two other things might matter. 1) Make sure you refresh using the browser function and not the link above the images (the link refreshes the page to show changes made from working on other plumbing areas; the browser refresh actually refreshes the page to enter new data such as clicking a lever). 2) If you think your browser might be loading from cache and not updating the page properly you might try using the "Go" function on your browser instead (as in if you were going to a new web page but in this case you are going to the same page again and again). Firefox tends to load from cache and the default setting on old Internet Explorer versions *is* to load new data but doesn't function properly so must be set manually to load new data upon each visit. Hope that wasn't too complicated-sounding. Sorry for the Polish English, lol, and let me know if you are still having troubles. :)

By Blogger anjuna, at 6:43 PM

  • Ahhh, I see that your patience timer just ran out was all. :D Congratulations, sometimes patience is the key!

By Blogger anjuna, at 6:50 PM

  • I LOVE YOU.

    :D

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:25 PM

    but yeah, thanks soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2:12 PM

  • NO WAY IT WORKED! I was honestly skeptical at first and this sounded really confusing. But after just a few careful refreshes it actually worked in a few minutes instead of wasting so much time using other methods! THANK YOU!!

By Anonymous Becca, at 4:25 PM

  • Can everybody explain me this method into german? I don't understand it, sorry!

By Blogger anjuna, at 12:24 PM

  • Wow. Man i can't believe this worked. i spent like 2 hours doing it the regular way and i was tired of it think that there had to be an easier way. i tried this and got it on the first time i hit refresh. =]=]=] Made me super happy. no lie.

By Anonymous Elisha, at 6:36 PM

  • OMG this method actually worked, in like...ONE MINUTE!!! Thank yyou! ^^

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:21 PM

  • It literally took around five seconds. You have been awarded four (4) internets.

    THANK YOU!

    <3

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:16 AM

  • I feel dumb being the only one asking this, but are you suppose to paste the link in the URL bar, then go onto the next one and paste the other Url links? Cause once I switch to a new tab, it doesn't stay. I think i'm just misunderstanding the intructions, but i'm hopelessly confused?

By Anonymous Rosiie, at 2:58 PM

  • When I mean it doesn't stay, I mean once I switch to another tab, the previous tab, the one that I posted the URL link in, it goes back to the original URl..

By Anonymous Rosiie, at 2:59 PM

  • OH MY GOSH!!! I LOVEE YOUUU.

I spent 2 hours yesterday trying soo many combos, but After randomly refreshing, then carefully refreshing, i got it!

    T H A N K Y O U S O M U C H ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

By Anonymous Rosiie, at 3:12 PM

  • Thank you so much! I've been trying to do it randomly or methodically for hours and this finally worked. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

    I LOVE YOU SO MUCH...
    THANKYOUTHANKYOU THANK YOU!!!
AFTER FOUR HOURS... i tried this and it worked, ohhhh my god. thank you so much.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10:28 PM

By Anonymous Jes!, at 12:00 AM

  • So... You're my new hero. Thank you!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:08 AM

  • I love you.

By Blogger Unknown, at 9:24 AM

  • This was amazing! At first, I tried to do it according to some dinky chart. Then, I realized that I was bound to mess up somewhere...So, I found this page. Spent about 5 minutes refreshing back and forth, and finally gave up. I came back about 5 minutes later, click click, and Walah! Saved! Thanks so much :)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:40 PM

  • YAY! tHANKSS

By Blogger Unknown, at 10:44 PM

  • You do not know how much I was infuriated by this after Sunny Neo's Water Plant Check list didn't work after three times.
And in a mere few refresh clicks it's done.
This is the best guide I've found out there.
    You're a savior. seriously!
I flooded it by accident on one of the pages though, haha

By Anonymous KBLikesMetal, at 10:51 PM

  • God bless you, girl!!!!

By Blogger Barbara, at 12:34 PM

  • AAAAAA!!! it workssss~~~ i spent almost half day to fixed that thingy!!! Miracle!!!! thx very much!!! i love youuuuuu~~~~~

By Blogger Keithy, at 9:09 AM

  • At first, I couldn't get your method to work and I thought it didn't work very well.
Then, after another half hour of doing effing clicking the normal way, I took another shot at your method... and it worked in under 5 seconds.

Good work on sharing your Mad Plumber strategy! Thanks!

By Anonymous mercurionred, at 6:47 AM

  • Oh, good Lord, I was going nuts. This method freaking saved my brain. I did some random clicking after what must have been near an hour... and bam. Thank you. I know everyone before me has said this but YOU ARE A GENIUS.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2:47 PM

  • Thank you very much! Got this done in less than a minute!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:26 PM

  • o my gosh i freakin love you so much! i started refreshing randomly and it worked in 5 seconds! i have personally been doing this same part for 2 months and no luck. i use your method and bam! i would hug you through the computer if i could! thank you!!!!!
    :D <3

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:09 PM

  • I had no idea how this would work. i'm simply amazed. Nice plan.
    thank u!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:44 PM

  • i was thinking. ok, maybe this worked for every one else but it wont work that fast for me. clicked to refresh ONE TAB and it worked. thank you youve saved my life

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:22 AM

  • AWESOME. seriously, I refreshed two tabs and BAM. They were all cheering for me! Thank you so so so so so much, I had no idea this would actually work.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:27 PM

  • It's been said over and over again, but thank you so very much for this method. I spent weeks trying to figure it out, charts didn't even work. But this finally did, in less than 3 minutes!! Thank you again!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:33 AM

  • Truly works. After searching many sites and spending 2 days working on this, I was about to give up.

Even refreshing the windows didn't immediately work, but the comment by elsa_willow (above mine somewhere) did the trick. Thank you!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:02 PM

  • Like everyone else has said, you are a lifesaver! Both me and my husband have been trying this on my account for the past 3 days, both randomly & methodically, and I was just about to pull my hair out when I found a link to your page.

    Thank you soooo much!!

By Blogger Vivian, at 9:30 PM

  • I tried it for the first time, it didn't work at all. So I took a break for a while and so I ate and I watched Grey's Anatomy.

When I decided to try again, I pasted the link to the address bar, and as soon as I entered, it worked! I didn't even refresh! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

By Anonymous Nohl, at 9:58 PM

  • It hurt my logical thinking... but it really worked... nice hint!

By Anonymous Haviland, at 9:20 AM

  • OMG! I spend hours for this.. and with your method it costed me 3 minutes! thank you so much!

By Blogger Anna, at 1:34 PM

  • This was brilliant. Spent most of my evening attempting to follow another guide and this one had me finished in five minutes. Thanks SO much for sharing. <3

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:49 PM

  • Hey there.
I want to know, how long should I wait before refreshing pages?
    Until each loads?
Or like, just jump from one, right to the other.
Just want to know, since I have been trying this for a little while.
Also, will the thing come up on only one of the tabs?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:34 PM

  • You should wait until the page loads anyway so that you can see when the success message shows up. If you reload the page before that time, you will never know if the code that executes fixing the plumbing has finished running. (And might end up having to start all over with the Mad Plumber Wizard!) ;) The message of success should show up on the first page that reloads after the correct sequence has run and on all future pages related to this particular part of the plot. So, yes, let all pages fully load. And if you miss the success message you should see it again should you re-attempt to fix the water plant. :)

By Blogger anjuna, at 12:01 PM

  • This took all of twenty seconds (literally) for me to finish. I'd spent a good twenty minutes trying before. Thanks.

By Anonymous idesofaugust, at 3:23 PM

  • This didn't work for me. Then I tried fooling around with the levers and valves and it worked!!! Good Method!

By Blogger Christian, at 11:38 PM

  • Thankyou very very much! I used the "1,1-2-1,1-2-3-2-1..." refreshing method, and it only took a couple of minutes! Thankyou very much for your massive help :D

By Blogger Quirky Turkey, at 11:58 PM

  • i cant seem to get it D: i even tried what ella_willow said (everyone seems to say it worked o3o) maybe im doing it wrong? can someone please explain to me her whole method? thankz! :3

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10:18 AM

  • Are you still having trouble? Let us know exactly where you are stuck or what you don't understand. The biggest mistake is probably to overthink it. It is as simple as it sounds, "Open all the links and refresh pages randomly." The "method" is that there is no method. :)

By Blogger anjuna, at 10:37 AM

  • I still can't do it! Its been lik 7 minutes!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:12 PM

  • do u hav to wait for it 2 refresh?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:13 PM

  • I know there are a lot of comments but please do yourself the favor of at least scanning the first and last few so that I may avoid repeating myself. Thanks, all! :)

Anonymous, 7 minutes is nothing. Before the Mad Plumber Wizard some spent upwards of 7 days! :o

  • What else would we be talking about? Please read the above more carefully and/or tell me more precisely what you don't understand. Thanks.

By Blogger anjuna, at 12:12 PM

  • i still dont get what to do :( i feel really stupid ><

By Anonymous kt, at 4:38 PM

  • kt, what exactly don't you understand? Wish I could help you more, anjuna

By Blogger anjuna, at 2:48 PM

  • I'm doing everything EXACTLY as you said. I even clear my cache history every time I go through the eight sets of links. I have used every single method on the internet. I am NOT going to try all 254 ways. Am I doing something wrong? First I open eight tags including your instruction page. Then I paste a link in one address bar and go to it. If I dont't go to it, it erases the link. (I didn't design it) As soon as there all gone to, I push refresh, the button ;), and I do that one by one down the line. Then I push "erase cache history" after I refresh the eighth link. I'm on Internet Explorer 7 or 8. Then I go through it again. See what I mean? I've tried flooding Altador, then pushing everything once. I've tried putting everything at random settings and taking a break. You get the idea. People have already tried doing it one by one with a chart. Then if you make a mistake, oh god. I feel like contacting TNT and seeing if they will put in a new link, "Activate a nuclear bomb, in Altador." Somebody help! I've been at this for two days.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:16 AM

  • J, nowhere in my instructions does it say to clear your cache. Doing so defeats the purpose of this wizard! I created this method here because "doing it one by one with a chart" has not worked for so many, including myself. The correct answer may be a sequence of far more than simply eight actions. You would never know if your sequence of actions wouldn't have fixed the water plant on the ninth action, now would you? ;) Stop clearing your cache but keep doing what you are doing otherwise and you should have better results. Good luck! :)

By Blogger anjuna, at 7:36 AM

  • Does it matter in what order you refresh the tabs?
    -J

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:10 AM

  • Not at all, "orderly or randomly" as per instructions. Permission to get angry and be a Mad Wizard! Shouldn't be too much longer now! :D

By Blogger anjuna, at 8:48 AM

  • I do not know how to show my thanks. I fixed the pipes and the same day restored Altador's history. Thanks.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:05 PM

  • Not working for me and i'v been doing it for like 2 hours...!?!?!?! is t cuz im on a mac?

By Anonymous Rach, at 7:13 PM

  • So do you just keep refreshing randomly or do you have to click anything?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:02 PM

  • Rach, provided your browser works similarly and displays new data upon every page load it should be fine. Two hours is not unheard of but feel free to take a break and try closing your browser; logging out and back in to Neopets; clearing your cache and/or cookies. As for the question from the Anonymous user posting after you, just keep refreshing! :)

  • You are amazing, internet stranger! Thank you!!!

By Blogger Andres, at 6:41 PM

  • I'm thinking that maybe the reason this completely senseless method works and logical ones don't, is that the plant was built by a "mad wizard". Ha!
TNT is hilarious in such cruel ways!

  • awesome layout and excellent article.many thanks this is fantastic details.

By Anonymous Grille Salaire, at 8:25 PM

  • This works wonderfully on Opera! I just set the tabs to automatically reload every so often, then left the computer for a few minutes. Then when I came back I saw the message telling me to stop playing with the water flow :P
    Thanks so much!

By Anonymous Jane, at 11:40 PM

  • OHMYG0SH. I was just clicking around randomly trying to flood Altador, and I did it correctly! Well, there's really no logic in a Mad Wizard. xD

By Blogger anjuna, at 11:44 AM

  • just wanna say....brilliant! tried the "put all 254 combos in individually" method at LEAST 12 times, to no avail. Literally before I even loaded all of the tabs, I got the good news! Can't thank you enough anjuna!!

By Anonymous Chris, at 9:33 PM

  • thanks you! :D

By Blogger Karina Domínguez, at 2:44 PM

  • I had to do all 254 combos yet to no avail. Then I stumbled upon this. Compared to the other method that took me 2 hours your method only took me 2 minutes! You're a genius! Thanks so much!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:26 AM

  • thank you! worked so fast!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:45 PM

  • You are amazing, thank you so much for sharing this method. All I had to do was copy and paste the links into the url bar and BAM - it worked. No mucking around with stupid combinations and hurting my brain, lol. Thank you!

By Anonymous Allie, at 3:10 AM

  • WOW I SHOULD HAVE FOUND THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! Seriously worked for me in 1 try! YES! THANKYOU SOOO MUCH!

NEVER AGAIN WATER PLANT OF DOOM... Never again.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:49 AM

  • Oh my goodness! I been refreshing for a couple of minutes, and because most of the comments I've read said that they got it in about a few seconds, I was about to give up. It was a good thing I tried a couple times more. I still cannot believe it worked! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! After giving up on this last year. @-) It was a good thing I stumbled upon your site! I don't know who you are, but thank you so much!!

By Anonymous Andi, at 9:56 PM

  • took me ten seconds. thankyou so much!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:23 PM

  • Do you close out the other tabs that aren't empty? I don't completely understand this method. I have eight tabs open, and I'm refreshing them all, and three of the different rooms are empty. Do i close out everything but those three rooms and refresh? This isn't very clear, even though everyone loves it.....totally confused here. Someone help me! I'm CatharineAlekzander on Neopets if you can message me or something!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:08 PM

  • Dear Most Recent Anonymous, There shouldn't be any empty tabs or rooms. Something may not be refreshing correctly? Please state which browser you're using. It's possible you need to update it, or if recently updated you may need to roll back a version. I'm always perplexed when someone occasionally mentions this method isn't very clear. Perhaps it is because it is actually *simpler* than most expect it to be? You are simply, in essense, opening up each "turn of the spout" as a separate action in its own tab. I, myself, still claim I don't know how or why it works ... but it apparently does. ;) Good luck!

By Blogger anjuna, at 5:30 AM

  • I can't even....OMG THANK YOU!!!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:03 PM

  • I tried this for 2 days SO long, and it still isn't fixed! I've tried EVERY method, Firefox and Internet Explorer +.+ It shows different pictures every time so it has nothing to do with the cache-thing. Why does it work for EVERYBODY except me ): ?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:47 AM

  • Oh my goodness! This worked amazing! Thank you so much! And the method I used was to refresh the tabs in order, then go backwards so tab 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 THEN 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and so on.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:55 PM

  • OMFG I am so happy. I spent SOOOOOO long trying to this with the stupid ass chart, did it MORE then once. 5 mins with this and an auto refresher on fire fox and done! THANK YOU!

By Anonymous TC, at 9:23 AM

  • I think I love you. This took me less than a minute XD

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2:39 PM

  • used refresh every, worked, very happy, before that I tried every combination and it didn't work, this took a couple minutes

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:43 PM

  • Awesome!!! Thank you!! First I thought, it doesn't work, but after 1 min it finally worked and danced around the room :D:D

By Anonymous Dennis, at 12:16 PM

  • Ohh wow, got the solution in under a minute. Fantastic, thanks so much for this!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:02 PM

  • OMG wow thanks! The solution popped out before I was done refreshing the 8th tab! This helped me so much; thank youuu!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:04 AM

  • a question: do u hv to type the url again after refreshing?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:06 AM

  • Thank you so much! I spent litterally ALL DAY on this stupid thing, and I got it in about 3 minutes~

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:41 PM

  • Okay, I've been doing this for about two hours going 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 over and over and 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 over and over aswell .... Also been doing random ones. I've waited for the page to load EVERY time. I've tried switching from Firefox to Internet Explorer .... Its just not working. I'm at "crying-frustration" point... Pleeeease help me someone ????? I'm over desperate hahaha

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:24 AM

GOOD LUCK to everyone that is still trying :P

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:52 AM

  • This worked on the first tab I refreshed, and I spent like an hour last night doing it the hard way. -_-

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:58 AM

  • I've been stuck on this for literally YEARS and now I finally got it - took about 10 minutes. Originally I was trying to get it from my slow laptop, and it froze, but I moved to my parents' computer and it was much easier. Thank you so much!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:36 PM

  • I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Thank You! I've been going crazy doing random switches for the last week! Thank you so much! Marry ME <3

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10:19 AM

  • WOOHOO! Thanks so much! It took a while, but definitely did the trick. For anyone that it's not working for- be patient! I tried for about a half hour yesterday, then gave up and tried for another 10 minutes or so today and got it :-)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:06 AM

  • I've been doing this for a while and nothing is happening. im curious as to wether theres an objective such as: make sure theres no water whatsoever in the plant; fill up all the basins; or try to make all the little tunnel paths flowing with water, because everytime i refresh a page where i have almost everything unfilled except for one thing i feel like im going to mess it up? am i just being paranoid by this or is it just complete;y random? (which i know youve said hundreds of times) im just not a beliver yet
    ~Paranoid

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:36 PM

  • @Paranoid, You're being completely paranoid lol. Trust in the process. It's called the Mad Plumber Wizard for a reason. Either you get completely mad at it and click randomly or... it will drive you mad from thinking about it too much! ;)

Seriously though, it's not known how this process works. It's postulated by me that it's due to the answer being not a "combination" per se but a "sequence" but I could be wrong about that. I'm just as surprised (and pleased) as the rest of those who've commented here. Good luck!
